There are 23 IITs in India providing over 250 Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes across various specialisations. The students have to score high in JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) to get a seat in IITs. Every year lakhs of candidates appear for JEE Main, from which less than half qualify for the JEE Advanced.
