As the ongoing pandemic hits the nation’s economy hard, the education system is devising new ways to keep the education system running without compromising the career of billions of students. In such crisis times of total lockdowns all over the world, internet and audio/visual devices have enabled millions of students to pursue their dreams by attending sessions from the comfort of their home. However the inclusion of online technology at such a fast pace and limited time has also revealed a lot of concerning areas regarding the efficiency of such online sessions and adaptation of students to fully utilise the technology for their benefit.
Some of the major concerns or hindrances in online sessions are low bandwidth, unavailability of internet, unavailability of appropriate a/v device, ignorance in using technology, inappropriate session timings and at times weather conditions.
Taking a count of these ongoing issues, Sri Chaitanya, a prominent CBSE Inst., has come up with some of the most innovative techniques to help students get the maximum from their online classes no matter what the problem is on either side of the session. Here is what they implemented:
Session recording – sessions are recorded live while they are on with a dedicated a/v recording device and software which keeps recording the session in real time and later after the session it is uploaded into their “classroom resources” for students and parents to download as per their requirement.
Digitization of notes – Every session is backed up with notes meant to be uploaded for students which they can access or download as per their convenience and practice the key areas of doubts or weakness.
Dedicated doubt clearing sessions – Multiple doubt clearing sessions of various shifts are held with prior student intimations to enable students to clear their doubts if they have any.
Faculty/Teacher access – Students are free to call faculties on pre-assigned numbers and timings in case they come up with any critical questions. This helps the students and faculties to have a clear understanding of weakness and improvements in students.

I think so, language and medium is a problem for students those who are not from english medium. high uses of data during pandemic users are not getting speed internet for audio and video. i hope Sri Chaitanya has got a panel of Expert faculties to overcome this.
